Hi, I've just reinstalled xp home, but just can't get the driver for the sound card to work.

I know the card works with xp because it was fine before I reinstalled xp(sp2).

Its a cm18738/c3dx...

BTW which HDs are the most reliable?

Hi, I'm scanning in all my old negatives and want to store them long term. Is it best to put them on CD, or DVD, or a hard drive or what? And how long is it safe to leave them on there?

I have turned sys restore off but it doesn't find it.

I thought I'd got rid of the virus, but now AVG keeps putting a msg up saying there is a virus in: 'F:\system volume information_restore (1faaa9d1-db6c-4155.......................'

It says run...

Tried scanning in safe mode but AVG wouln't start.

Hi, I've run a virus scan with AVG and it found two viruses.

But it says it can't get rid of them and that the pc is still infected.

Whats happening here?
