    Thanks, I'm upgrading my vid card from a 7600GT. My system has a Opty144@2.5 A 4850/70 will work fine until I build a new system,then I'll just put it in the new one.

    Better card for slower system?

    My system : Asus A8N-E, Opteron 145 OC'd to 2.4, 2 gb ram, Geforce 7600 Gt,XP Pro,plenty of fans and open case.

    I didn't know that heatpipes were liquid filled. But, would forced air be better than static (non moving) coolant?
