Crucial is good too. Mine is rated at CAS 2.5, but i can run at CAS 2 with no problem. It is even overclocking friendly. I got the FSB run up to 150Mhz, and it is still stable. :t

For me it would be from a Pentium 166, 16MB Ram and 420MB HDD to a Athlon XP 2000+, 512MB Ram and 40GB HDD. The first thing i booted up the system was "WOW! SO FAST!".

Hmm... static haven't been much of a problem for me. I just make sure i touch the case or the ground every once in 5 minutes. So i guess it is cool for me.
