Well, you'll need the jumper settings for that board.
If the board can go down to 2.4v/2.2volts, then you may be able to put in an AMD K6-II. They ran at 2.2volts but they can take 2.4v no problem....

The K5's did run below what it looked like they did. They used the PR system of speed rating. I think they used a .35 fab and probably ran fairly hot. If you're gonne push it, you won't get much more...
