i know what you are saying. The HD is failing. However, when I put the HD into my other box, it works fine. Also, I did not start getting these errors until I installed redhat and messed with my MBR....

is it possible that I could have my CDROM jumped incorrectly. I mean, I have my HD configured as the primary and the CDrom as slave. Is this incorrect? Thanks again!
