I used to get around 1.5-1.6GB/sec memory bandwith while benchmarking with sandra before, but recently that has dropped to a miserable 1.1GB/sec int.buffered and 1.0GB/sec float...

The XP partition is 6GB (C)
the windows progams partition is 22GB (D)
and the linux one is 10GB (E)
but windows sees the E partition as "0 bytes free" cos i allocated it completely to...
