Make sure that you choose "CD copy" in Nero, then it should work fine. I've made back up copies using Nero plenty of times without any problems doing it that way.

Tagan, OCZ, Thertmaltake, Xion are all excellent PSU's. As for cases I particularly like Thermaltake or Antec, they are superbly built :)

Check that the BIOS supports the dual-core CPU. Some mobos from the 3200+ era need a BIOS update before they can use dual-cores.
