One of my SETI machines has that CPU, but I still haven't tried unlocking, yet. Still tweaking FSB for all I can get. I'm in the process of buying another one that's already unlocked, too.

You may have a CPU from the pre-lock days or maybe an engineering sample. But all Intels (except ES) have been multiplier locked since sometime in '98.

Windows won't care what CPU you have, but the BIOS/motherboard might. Is this a direct replacement for another 200 CPU? Or is this one faster/slower?

My advice would be to try it both ways and see which gives the lower temperature. Most of mine are blowers because I have case fans pulling in room air near each of them. Mr Delta pulls in that air...

The AGP speed is based off the PCI speed. AGP=2xPCI. PCI = 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/4 (or more!) of FSB. Typical FSB ranges are 66-83 for 1/2, 84-123 for 1/3, and 124+ for 1/4. I...
