Sometimes with 2 firewalls you make it where you cant get on line at all. It blocks everything or nothing. That is in most cases . So that is why they say not to.

My first board was an ECS K7VZA it had adjustable front side bus and that was all. The second was the new version of the same board it was the same way but the voltage was set at 1.92 out of the box...

I have had 2 ECS boards and have hade good results overclocking them just as they were avereage was 150mhz overclock

I personaly like Black Ice Defender or called Network Ice. I have had no trouble with it at all. You can download a trial version. Try it.
