might have something to do with the mobo temp sensors. i ve read that asus boards give very unaccurate temp readings. my xp 1500,with fsb up from 133 to 152,sys temp is 89F and cpu temp is 118F...

is it an epox 8kha or 8kha+ with a oc`d fsb?? read somewhere that upping the fsb on those boards raises havoc with usb reliability.
