Hmm, I'm setting up a wireless ad-hoc network between my laptop and my buddy's laptop.

I have a Broadcom integrated adapter that does b/g and he has an Athenos integrated adapter that does b/g....

I will try that as well.

If I can just get the Linksys utility to run under Windows XP with no problems, I would use that and disable the WZC as I would have much more control with the Linksys...

The signal strength is Very Good to Excellent. I would think that signal stability shouldn't be the culprit here. :(

I'm trying to help a friend with her wireless issue. She has a Linksys BEFW11S4 (v.2) wireless router and a WUSB11 wireless-B USB (v2.6) adapter.

The wireless connection will work...

I have a question about rollover (console) cables.

Is it possible to make one using standard UTP? I know that the rollover cables at flat, but can I make one with Cat5 UTP?

Boot with the XP/2000 CD and do a repair install.

I had this problem before and the repair install fixed it.

It sure sounds like that video card is kicking the bucket.
