Yes, this only applies to GeForce 2's and Ram above 512 MBs.

I've read that having GeForce 2 on WIN98 with More than 512+MB of RAM equals corruption of NVIDIA's drivers? Is this true?

For example, what is the difference between Slot A and Socket A?:
