the audio codec is

mpeg layer 3

i am not able to hear sound from the rear speakers while i am playing Divx movies

but in cAse of vcd i can hear the sound

i have labtec arena 530 speakers set and mad dog 4channel sound card
...

the beeps are continuous never ending ones.

and wrong ram isnt the prob bcos this pc was runnin for abt na year.will try different ram and get back

There is a mobo with VIA chipset for intel processors.

its a good chipset.been using it.dunno abt the board.

when i run kazaa in winxp it automatically closes after abt 10 secs.
when i run it on win 98 it gives me a mssg that it has has performed an illegal op.but if i let the mssg stay the kazaa works...
