oh yeh went into device manager and everything seems to be kosher. The light on the card reader also lights up when I plug it in

I got a card reader from a shop the other day. I needed something to read my CF card at that time.

Incidently it didn't work but I connected straight to the camera. I took it back and he plugged...

So I took the plunge and realised how much faster XP is than vista. Vista is just so....bloated it seems.

I had some trouble with drivers not working which I downloaded from the dell website. So...

So I went home to change the vista product key on my desktop...

Then the realisation hit me...I've installed windows 7 beta on my desktop and this whole thread was a waste of time!

Well maybe...
