alpha processors donot support x86 arcitecture (spelling)?
they will only work with windowsnt 4 dec alpha version,unix,etc (not much research on dec alphas)
windows 98 is an x86 based os......

there are a few motherboards that allow such memory chips to run simotaneously together...
there also is older 5v edo dimm models ; sdram is when manufacturers went to 3.3v for DIMM.check what type...
