i have an hp pavillion 510c and have tried everything to get a geoforce mx420 pci card to work with no luck.

how do i go about that? one of my buddies suggested a bios update since i currently cant disable onboard video in bios

yes i can disable it, but like i said after it is disabled and i restart with the geoforce card windows locks up while it is loading

ok, ive tried all of that im running xp professional, i can disable the onboard card through device manager and the new one installs but windows locks up while it is loading when the new card is...
