MS paint actually :p
here my oc on air
everyone having fun please dont laugh at my score 'cause look at my cpuz well and look at my mb heheh
That looks good for a Socket A machine!
3069 with:
ASRock K7S41GX
Sempron 2400+ OC'd to 2800+ (1.667gHz to 2.0gHz) +20% OC on STOCK cooler!
1GB Samsung PC2700
eVga 7800GS CO AGP (superclocked) 460mHz/1.4gHz 256MB DDR3 <--this thing ROCKS!
FW 81.98
That is impressive for a socket A machine, budget board and budget processor, all your budget is obviously in that video card.
Yeah, I just upgrade a bit at a time. The CPU is obviously quite a bottleneck. I think the next upgrade is gonna be a new mobo/X2 3800+ and 2GB ram. That's going to be a while though. :( Unless anyone knows where I can get an MSI Diamond Plus & the X2 for about a hundred bucks LOL! (My gaming budget was diverted to a 50" Samsung DLP TV this time around. It makes a nice 2nd monitor! :D) Going from the vanilla 6600 to the 7800GS made a HUGE difference, though. Well worth the $315.
X1900XT w/ 3800+ X2... total score: 5011
(not overclocked)

ERROR popped up on the first test..
System:
ECS k7s5a 3.1
AMD Athlon 1900+
ATI Radeon 9800 AIW PRO
1.5 gb RAM
Glad I'm building a new PC sometime this week or next week. Wont be a several grand machine but better than my current system.
Well, let us know what you build and what kinda scores you get :t
3700
sm2.0: 1428
HDR/Sm3.0: 1610
CPU: 1292
Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe
AMD 3800+
3 gigs ram
XFX 7800 GTX 512mb XXX <--- with a second on the way
3 10,000 rpm raptor HHDs
X-Fi sound Card
21.5" wide screen
Now with Sli i hit 5740
SM2.0: 2449
HDR/SM3.0: 2638
CPU: 1479
not bad, but when i ran 2001 in 1680x1050 i scored 16388. i like that score better.
i got 1237 using 3dmark2006
that's good or bad?
Well ... it really depends on what you have for components. It is a very respectable score for a Socket A machine with a 9600 Video card. Read the entire thread as it is only four pages and you will see most of the people said what they are using. It is just a benchmark, and doesn't really prove anything.Quote:

i am new with benchmarks dont now what too make of this score
pls reply
Trans, ... i would have expected 1700 or 1800 from your machine
what is the problem?
any ideas?
I would try cleaning your soft ware, with Adaware, scan for viruses, use you system tools to cleanup the Hard drive and then defragment it and see if any of that helps.
trans, try cleaning your board and components of all the dust. sometimes dust will cause your comp to get hot, and thus slow your performance. It also helps to turn off all other processes. but as stated before, theses test don't really mean to much. most computers will play game just fine. Now if your into digital animation and using your computer to render models and lighting, then theses test mean a lot.
It just occurred to me that I had a untested machine that should be closer to trans, so I just DL'd 3D 2006 and tried it
I have a ABIT UL8 with a A64 3200 Venice, 2 X 512 PC3200, ATI AGP X800 Pro 256Meg, it has OEM Win XP Pro X64.
I did the first run while folding, thinking that would bog things down.
It was 1556
With Folding disabled I only got 1589.
Not much difference.
All stock speeds, no clocking expensive stuff for me
i am using god software
clining is regular vith ad aware se
and tune up utilities
dust is no problem . i am fully aware of the problems thath dust can couse
dont have any ideas vhat the problem is
theorethicly it shude go great
any ideas?
i dont like overclocing
the system has a great overclocing tool
until 3754 mhz goes vey stable
but the heat is....
i am not going too experiment with 3d mark vwth overclocing
Just re-set my system to stock settings to see what it would do. Av8 Deluxe mobo, X850XT AGP vid card, X2 3800 & 2x 512 meg Patriot mem. Got 2292 score.
W000T
just got 3d mark 2006 Professional Edition, ram my specs through ever test and got a Score of:
Score:- 2928
W000T kick ***.
my specs
P4 Extreme 3.2ghz
2gb DDR ram
Geforce 7800 GS 256mb
Creative Audigy 2 ZS plantium 7.1
200gb Sata hard drive
16x piorneer DVD burner
Definately want to see what score I get when I over clock it.
with my Geforce 7800 GS at factory overclocked settings
3D mark 2006 give me a score of
Score:- 3409
W0000T yeah!!!
all good!!!

2575 seems to be the breaking point for my system since I can't OC my processor

BFG 7900GT (Factory OCd) x2 in SLI (v84.21)
Thermaltake 560W PSU
i havent tried OCing it much yet and the RAM isnt even running at the proper rates, it should be 2/3/3/6. ive got nothing but air cooling in but its all zalman Cu stuff with a zalman fan controller (i really like zalman)
4112 marks, with a 7900 GT overclocked. 580 core, 1.6GHZ memory. The only thing holding it back is my 2800+ which isnt overclocked, so i should pop about 1k more if i did.

Well that is disappointing!
I do above 2600 with my 6800 GS (485/550) consistently
I felt my backup to be better, but could only muster 1856 from it, well it has a X850 Pro clocked (540/590) and I "feel" that it is the quicker machine,
Indeed I opened and started the tests on the 6800 first, and once running went to the backup machine and loaded and started those tests. The X850 was a mere five seconds behind at the completion of the first four tests. But the backup machine stopped there and was done! The 6800 doing 2 more tests.
Ahh! The X850 is using Win XP Pro X64 and the other tests are in 32 bit only I guess.
Oh well I know it's faster, to heck with this benchie!
1676. Not bad considering :D I might try overclocking everything later, I'm pretty bored. Could do with a reformat too...
Conservative OC:
A64 3000+ @ 2GHz
6600GT @ 550/1000
1836 marks
That is a pretty good jump!
Thanks!
I reckon I could crack 2000, but it's still gonna be a slideshow :D
5,794 on my E6300 at 2.2 and X1900 XT.
