Dont tell me to shaddap. Your just a spoit rich kid. This isnt OT, I am simply saying that you dont need to spend stupid ammounts of money on an X850XT PE to get great scores, because you can get tehm with a 6800GT!Quote:

 tee'd off...
anyways, yeah, you can get those scores with about any high end card, and your point is valid...
This is with my ram timings changed to:
CAS 2.5: 2-2-5-1T (I think 1t, i turned 2T command to OFF)...
not sure if my Corsair XMS TwinX will run cas 2.0...if it does :)
6477, also my CPU is at 2.3Ghz now insted of 2.2..
I broke 6500, my new score is 6507

This is with my Ram timings at : CAS 2.0: 3-2-6-1T (The 1T Helps ALOT!)
Video Card is running at
571MHz/1.2GHz (601x2)
CPU is at 2.3Ghz....if only i could buy a DFI Lanparty board :(...could be runnin at like 2.6Ghz...mabey higher at cas 2.5...
That is more like the sort of scores you should be getting! :p
Yeah, i know, mabey with a bit more tweaking i can get a few more points from it...but the main thing is buying a new motherboard...Quote:

I want one of those DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB...those are WiCkEd for 754's and OC'ing......
Sometimes a driver update can add a significant ammount to your score..
nice scores SZ. overclocking the cpu can help a small bit, but it's more the GPU than anything.
drivers definitely do affect the score, but the newest ones are not necessarily the best for 3dmark. you'll have to try different sets. ATI doesn't have many betas, but there are a bunch of modded drivers out there. I don't really buy into the "modded" driver fad, but you're welcome to try 'em. I just don't see how people think they know more than ATI/Nvidia driver engineers.
here are my scores with my new vid card, I didnt think they were too bad
