Hey cV, what voltages are you using? Also, why are you using those timings? Doesn't the usual nForce 2-2-2-11 work for you?

Sorry guys I've been sick...
I just built a new pc:
Intel P4 3.4 800MHz FSB 1M L2 chache
2Gigabytes of PC3200 RAM
160G SATA Hard Drive
500 Watt Sata compatible Power Supply
ATI Radeon X800 PCI Express 256MB at 1000MHz
core card speed is 500MHz
as far as the PCI Express goes, this VPU chipset is the only one that has 16 Pixel Pipelines. In other words the PCI express interface is the only way to fully utilize this feature, otherwise the card is exactly the same as the AGP version
as for the 3DMark scores, yes it is true that some cards may score higher for now, but when it comes to playing actual games at high resolutions and lols of graphic features like pixel shading, lighting, shadows, etc. ATI cards seem to outperform the competition
I pretty much built my system in anticipation of Half-Life 2, which should be the new best FPS ever. It is true that Doom 3 had groundbreakingly amazing graphics, but thats all it had. It really wasn't a very good game.
Besides I'll be starting my games programming class soon, and I want to have a decent pc. Anyway I'm in class now, lol, so I'd better go, ttyl.
my is on my dell 8200 series ""3368 ""
P4 2.53 533 fsb
768meg of rambus
geforce fx 5600 Ultra 128 meg 8x vore clock 400mhz
i am guess this would suck at 3mark 05
i think i can do with my 5600 ultra than 640 bucks for one compent, yes it would be cool but i can built a comute almost ofr that much
here's my last hurrah for 3dmark03:
P4 3.2C OC'ed to 3.8(237fsb)
PNY 6800GT OC'ed to 437/1210 (volt mod to 1.4v core), evga copper heatsink
FW 61.77 with coolbits 2.0
final score: 13512
Now I gotta see what this puppy wil do on 3dmark05. :D
4866 on 3dMark 2005
Wrong thread, dude. Try posting that in the 3Dmark05 thread. :t
3600
p4 2.53ghz 533fsb
768ram
fx 5600 ultra 128meg
If I ever have an urge or need to overclock my rig,,and video card..which at present I don't really have a need for also....( a last Gen card..), I will look you up Midknyte as you seem to have a good handle on this operation......
I have the Riva tuner and GE Force tweak utility ...but haven't really played around it much....but of course if I had a 6800GT and knew it waas very overclockable..I would probably do the same....
Fantastic score though....
Do you actually make use of this seup for playing your games..and what are the results there?
I bet with that setup....a game like FarCry would look and play awesome...;)
what do u use for OCing midkyte. i use ati tool. since it scans for artifact as well.
I use coolbits 2.0. Rivatuner is a really good app as well. I only run it that high for benchmarking. My normal setup is 400/1100/1.3v core. That is basically Ultra speeds.Quote:

Farcry looks sweet with all the features turned on. The water effects, grass, etc. look way more realistic.
Just for the hell of it, I change the settings to "best performance" from the default. Got a 13710. I'll post a pic later if someone wants the scores/stats. I'm supposedly working right now.
I just use coolbits 2.0. Different drivers can help with artifacting. I found that the 66.70s had way less artifacting than the 66.81s. Once you see artifacting, you should lower your speed by about 5mhz. that should be solid.Quote:

you'd be extremely lucky to hit 1000 points my guess is about 800-850 pointsQuote:
