You guys make me sick... ( I am just a tad bit jealous but don't mind me)  :D
why do my scores seem to be lacking??

ur cpu is only 100mhz faster...should that account for 300 points?
drivers can make a big difference. you can try optimizing the forceware/catalysts or using beta/modded drivers.
Using beta drivers is a necessity for getting high bench scores on an nvidia card. I'm breaking 14k already.
i just have the regular omega 5.4's...
Shade, you aren't hurting. Are you killing all unnecessary running apps?
Turn off Vsync when benching, etc. I only OC'd my ram for the bench. My core comes stock at 370 mhz. If I OC the core things drop a little believe it or not. About 100 points. I found that out by accident, I forgot to OC the core. :p
MK is beating me by quite a few points and I give him credit for being better at tweaking his system for the bench. He has skills. :D
This is you guys discussion ,but find all this score comparison interesting..but for one very important fact or facts that you are missing here.
You all have different machines.
Yes they may be almost exact, but there are just too many variables to worry about and the point is mute..if only you all can see and use common sense related to environmental criteria.
The focus of concentration is being put on benchmarking and overclocking...and the scores are close..yes??? That is about as good as it gets. if in fact you ran the same tests on either the smwe machine or used the same stuff in another exactly the same setup..I would guess the scores to be totally diffent each time through.   ;)
You are right. My machine never benches the same 2 times in a row. It will be close but not the same.
