Remember, not all CPU's are made equal, no matter what you try, often you aint gonna be able to reach above a certain speed, its just the luck of the draw

3DMark2k3: 5280
XP2100 @ XP 2400(1858mhz)
FX 5900NU @ 450/900
512mb PC2700
I got 5048 with the card at 450/850, only notice a small increase in points with it almost at 5950 speeds(Need to flash the card for it to take the extra mhz to get it up to 5950U)
Once I get some OCZ or GEIL 3200 ram for my birthday, will I be able to get my 2100 to 3200 speeds(Current ram sucks, can't even get it to run stable at 166mhz)
:t
My video card stats have me at 300/800 for my card bus speeds on a Fx5900. Are these the right or correct speeds with no overclocking applied for this card? I always thought it was suppose to be 400or 450 for the first speed data...
Doesn't really matter much as the card works just fantastic in all areas anyways...
3dmark2k3 shows the 2d clock speeds, wich is 300/800. I don't know why they havn't fixed it to where it shows the 3D clock speed. Which the defualts are listed below
5900XT/SE - 390/700
5900 Non Ultra - 400/850
5900 Ultra - 450/900
That answers my question...thanks!
No idea, as i would rather use the 2004 version, but maybe they haven't come out with it yet.
I think I have Aquamark also and their test is quite nice I thought as they run about four or five different game types to test it...
does the settings at 8X or 4X affect this score I wonder..as i used 8X with 4X antilaising applied
ok here-s the link http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2063779 7200p smth... thats an Amd Xp 2500+ with water cooling. A guy in our estonian forum.Quote:

Can you let me know his settings?? I can't get past 2350 with a 2500 unlocked. Maybe it's the mobo I am using, K7N2 Delta ILSR. I have Corsair XMS 3200 C2PT 2X512 at 5,3,3,2. Is the card oc'd?
Also the best I could do with my oc'd 3200 and oc'd 9800 pro (ATI) was 19100 and 6700 respectively.
I am using air cooling.... Aeroflow... lots of case fans, etc, so temps have yet to be a problem. Just can't get the system stable above about 2350 with the 2500 and 2400 with the 3200.
and this is my friends points: 21291 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7551386
that on:
Athlon XP 2500+@3200+ @1.55v (@2618 @1.9v)
Thermaltake Volcano 7+ @5v (Arctic Silver 5)
Epox 8rda+ Ultra400, rev2.1 (@238 @1.6v)
2x256 Corsair pc3200 /2.2.2.x/ (@476 @2.85v)
Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro 128mb (@460/820)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 80 GB
550W Q-TEC, 2xfan
Maybe because the program reads the clock speeds when the card is in 2d-mode.Quote:

Ok Platoon, two things he has I don't, the water cooling and the mobo. Gonna make a trip to the local (Frye's) comp shop this weekend and check it out.

You want to OC to 2600Mhz?
Ok do that.
Be sure to get a good PSU too... Chiefteci, A-Openit, Enlight, Enermax or smth like that good.

A one GHZ processor will not get the job done....I have a 1.3 P4 in my old system ( still have ) and I upgraded all the way to the 2.8GHZ....Even with the 5600 card you would be ok if your processor was at least a 2.2 GHZ and above....
The athlon XP2500 is very good and is a hugh upgrade from where you are at and they are cheaper than the pentiums as I guess thats what you like....This processor would be fine.
Latest 2003.....6208
XP2800 @215x11
NF7-S V2
1Gb Corsair XMS 3200
9800pro (core 410, mem 370) With Arctic Cooler
same memory almost as mine and I have a FX5900 card with a P4 2.8GHZ 800FSB and the 3D mark score you gave is almost identical to mine..which is around 6600. That will work...good scores:p :t

Shuttle AN35N ultra
512mb PC3500 (6,3,3,2.5)

I haven't seen what it gets with the card overclocked more the card can run 430, 385 with no artifacts with ati tool
