I just did a clean install on my desktop and install a canon ip2700 printer. Works great. I have 2 laptops on the network and when I try to print wireless from them, it says the printer is offline. I was using it before fixing the desktop by pluging the USB cable straight to my laptop and would get the same message sometimes. I appreciate the help.
Uninstall from the laptops, reboot then do a clean install. Had that work.
Train's suggestion would seem to be the way to go because it sounds like the laptops are trying to print to a device which no longer exists.
Is the printer shared?
Is file and printer sharing enabled?
Which operating systems are running on these three computers?
