1st of all,
where do people get the sounds for there flash work, i tried to download it (no luck at all) and i have tried to make my own on a cheap mic (humours yet poor quality)

Any ideas on what flash movies i can do (i havent learn action script so no games...yet!)

Professionals make their own sounds (at least they should!). You can find plenty of free .wav files on the internet though, just do a search on google.com
If you are new to flash I'd suggest trying some simple tween animations. You could try building a web interface or follow some tutorials on the net.
