Free Zone Alarm Pro w/1 year subscriptio - 11/18/08 only

Not sure if this got posted here yet or not, but you can get ZA pro with 1 year subscription for free today only. Comes with firewall, antispyware and ID protection. I'm not a fan of zone alarm, but i am a fan of free.

It downloaded a small netinstaller first but then when you run that it gives you the option to just download it without installing it also. Another thing is I got two emails, the first just a welcome one in my inbox and the second with the activation key showed up in my spam box. No idea why as they were both from the same email.

After all the Windows Update fiascos, this is a PR move. You'd have to pay me to use ZA. Comodo is still my weapon of choice.

My ISP has been giving it away free for quite a long time. I haven't gotten around to downloading it yet, but then I have only been with them for the last 10 years. I don't mind ZA so much; it's the CA anti-virus that keeps me away.
