That's one area that I have to give the Canadians credit....they make the BEST maple syrup going. I have to look hard for it in Colombia but found Presidents Choice with real maple.. Good with Aunt Jemima pancakes too.Quote:

I wholeheartedly agree. There are lots of maple syrup brands at my supermarket, but I'll only buy the canadian ones.
Billforce, do you make pancakes out of your aunts often?
I know you probably don't recognize quality, but Aunt Jemima is the best pancake mix and I'm too lazy to make from scratch. Melt in your mouth pancakes
Shamefully, I also admit to using those pre-mixed pancake things once in a while.
Its just too much trouble doing it myself :)
I admire the British more than the French before I know about the French defeats throughout history.
Well! Since Singapore used to be a British colony, I'm glad that the SAS and the British army successfully prevented communism from 'infecting' Malaya and Singapore.
:t
If the French did not lose to the NVA, Vietnam would never be a communist state.
Nothing wrong wiv admiring the Brits
The British can be credited with the modern world atmosphere as it exists today.Quote:

If it were not for the British tactic's of 'stand in a line and shoot wearing the brightest color possible' the US would not exist as it were today!:r

Check out Bir Hacheim, 1942.
The military traditions of France are Legion.
It has always been the leaders who let them down,
they seem to lose their heads.
One word. Napoleon.
God bless the commonwealth :t
