HD problems

Hi,

I have a 60Gb 7200 rpm Maxtor HD partioned 3 ways. Untill recenlt all was fine untill i started backing up files on the 3rd partition. When that partition has 5GB free, I get application pop ups saying "Delayed Write: Windows was unable to save all the data for the file Failed\Device\HarddiskVolume3\........ "

Also event viewer shows this error " An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 during a paging operation."

i haven't been able to find much on this, any1 know what this means and how to fix it?

BTW system specs are:
ABIT VP6
Dual P3 1Ghz
512 Mb Ram
Win2k Advance server
60Gb 7200 rpm Maxtor HD

Run CHKDSK /F on the drive. In Disk Management, make sure that the drive is "Healthy".

Tried that last night, when i checked it in the morning it had complete 100% but is just sitting there showing me that screen :(

You mean the command-line (black "sandwich") screen?

\Device\Harddisk0\DR0 is the entire disk. I would run CHKDSK /F for all partitions and try again.
