I am assuming that to be true. Since ultimate and business both support dynamic disks; you should be able to make the disk active (it shouldn't be grayed out) instead of having to convert to basic disk.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Well, if someone can shed some more light on this, please do. Because if this is true I'll just use the build in upgrade in Windows Vista to upgrade it to Ultimate. But I don't wanna waste the money doing it if it won't work. Cause I'll probably just switch back to XP if this doesn't work.
Have you tried asking M$ support about it? I would even go to a site like Paul Thurrots http://www.winsupersite.com/ or http://www.langa.com/ These guys have done extensive work with Vista; and ask there. :t
