If you're running XP, click roll back drivers. If you're not running XP, someone else could probably help you (All I have ever had was XP, not counting MacOS 7.5.5 and 8.1)
i am using xp but the only drivers i had on it were the 45 and 52s. What i did was uninstalled from add remove programs and when comp restarted the monitor flickered after 1 minute and when i looked in hardware profiles it said 45s were installed?? how?? so anyway i used nasty file remover and deleted what was in my hard drive and they were still there. I then just installed the 44's over it and it works. While the 44s were installing though it said there is a newer version of this on your computer do you want to overwrite with older ones and i hit yes to all. It works. If they drivers will counter act should i do system restore. Or does this call for a reformat. I reformated recently so it wouldnt really be a problem to reformat and did i screw something up here even though it works. And does reformating my computer get rid of all the drivers completely?? It does right??
seems like it
Try a program called detonator destroyer

Use the search tool to look for files named nv*.inf, making sure that you've got the "search for hidden and system files" option turned on. Delete any that you find, then use Add/Remove programs to remove the Detonator.Quote:
