Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 Released
It was released recently to the public. Some of the new features include it's WebSlice feature that allows people to cut out content from their favorite pages and subscribe to it like a feed, then look back at that portion later from the task bar for updates. Another feature is the activities feature, which allows the user to take things text they find and use it in services such as map programs and blogs.
As already mentioned, it was released to the entire public, but it isn't anywhere near perfect. For me it renders webpages incorrectly when it tries to set them up, and is much slower (alot of lag) than the current Internet Explorer 7. Unless you plan to use it for developing purposes, or simply want to try the new features, it may be best to wait until the final version is released. Either way, it can be found here.
It is compatible with just about every variation of Windows from XP SP2 and up.
(Thought I should add...the screenshot was the page that displayed better than any other so far outside the runonce page...and right before I made this thread, lol.)
