Anyone have any experience with this sandbox application? Thinking of trying it out for added protection since I'm still using Win 7 and have no intention of installing Win 10 (used it, hated it).

The best sandbox for Windows 7 is Windows 10. ;) Just saying ...
Yeah I know. But I have Win 10 on my Asus tablet and I spend more time trying to fix it, mostly from faulty updates, than I do actually using the tablet. I don't need that headache on my daily use PC :)
Possibly because it's a tablet? <shrug>
I held out as long as I could, hang on a sec . . . It was 3 months and 2 days ago when I installed W10P64 on my daily use PC. It was the last one of our (wife and I) five Windows machines to get updated. No problems yet on any of them -- <Knock-on-Wood!> -- and yes, they all are set to auto-update. They are all backed up (Macrium Reflect) though ... just in case.
Did you install W10 as an over the top upgrade or as a clean install?
All were Windows 7 (64-bit) to Windows 10 (64-bit).
I bought a new Dell with Win 10 a few years ago. Never had an issue.
I have had numerous issues with Windows 10 on Dell computers. This is not Dell's fault, Windows "Update" is entirely to blame, since updates are NOT tested by Microsoft - that is your job. One potential way to avoid a lot of issues is to use Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB, which does not get "feature" updates. You can add a shell to make it look and work like previous versions of Windows.
Will look into that. My sandbox idea has a lot of holes. The one I was going to try since I can't use Shade for free any longer (waited too long to use the free serial key they gave me quite some time ago), called Sandboxie, has been semi-discontinued when Sophos closed shop on it.
