I have owned three of these monitors. When new they are the best thing since sliced bread. I have found that over the course of three or four years, the brightness of the image significantly deteriates. I have one monitor progress to the point that I could not do word processing. My current monitor is useless for jpegs.

This is by far the best monitor I have owned and for 75$ US at a computer show it was well worth it!

The Samsung SyncMaster 753DF is definately one of the best monitors I've owned so far. Not only is text nice and clear, color representation is top-notch. Yes, although it only supports up to 1024x768@85Hz, its most definately enough for the average user. One comment I have though is that after a month of usage, the monitor started to display strange ghosting affects. For a price of around $145 American, the 753DF is definately the best monitor within its price range.

have had this monitor for over a year and it is doing excellent. I am considering buying another or a samsung 19" next. can't ask for a better display and any adjustments that had to made were very easy. recommend this monitor.

Best clarity I've ever seen in a monitor. I love this thing. Could stare at it all day. Vibrant colors. Web pages look great and games go without saying. Nice piece of software to manage the color is included which I've never seen with other monitors I've purchased. You can't go wrong with this one. Mine came with a $40 rebate making it a great buy.

Samsung amazed me with this monitor. I previously was in the "Sony is best" mindset, but this screen blows the trinitrons out of the water. -Dot pitch -Refresh -Resolutions Best 17" I've used. For 17" monitors it's best to run at 1280x1024@85+hz. This one hits that target right on. Plus, the shadow mask if MUCH better on your eyes and creates a perfect level field for colors, text, lines, etc. The only company I have yet to try now is Hitachi which looks like it has the best of everyone else on paper, but I can't wait to get my hands on one.
