After purchasing one of these for my work, I went ahead and purchased one for me. I have not been disappointed. I have had this camera for over a year now and it is the most durable camera I have ever worked with. Unless you're doing large blow-ups, this camera has ideal image quality and color for 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 photos. This camera also has a video cable to show your pictures to your friends (I took pictures last Thanksgiving and showed everyone their photos on a large television the same day!). If you get this camera, you WONT be disappointed.

This is truly a greta camera. Battery Life is great, and the quality is awesome. Ive had cameras costing $1500-2000 and believe it or not this is the easiest and best (picture) quality camera I've ever used.

This is a great camera for a great price. Doesn't have all of the features of some of the higher priced models, but for most uses you don't need them anyway. I've stopped using my Olympus 35mm in favor of the D240R with pictures printed on an Epson Photo 750 printer (total for camera and printer < $450 !). Prints are better than those from the 35mm and you've got more control. The controls on the D240R are incredibly simple. No confusing menus - everything via dedicated buttons and no more than a couple of button presses to get to any function. Leaving everything on automatic works great. Very good at flash pics (as good as any point and shoot with the built-in flash gets) and EXCELLENT at macro pics. Battery life is quite good - especially with NiMH. Ergonomics are excellect - small, light, easy to turn on/off, easy to operate lense cover. Tried 5 other digital cameras (all more expensive than the D340R) and this one was not only the cheapest but also the easiest to use and produced the best images (IMHO).

This is a great camera for the price. Image quility is excellent, software to download to computer sets up without having to figure out anything with your COM ports. A note of the delay time when taking pictures- when you barely touch the button the camera performs it's auto-focus, then you can say cheese and push the button all the way with no delay..

It is a nice camera. Image quality is good enough to be displayed full screen on 21" monitor. Very easy to use. I also had some blurry pics, but think it is my shaken hands. The delay between button push and pic taken is the focusing time, auto focus cams are like this, even optical ones.

This is the first digital camera Ive bought and so far its great the price was right and the quility is very good, would do it again. Ps The camera will only work with 16meg or lower memory cards but you can send it to Olympus and there upgrade the camera to except 32meg cards for a cheap price.

Very nice camera. For the most part the pics are good quality, each one at full res comes out at about 120 kb. Only two complaints about this camera. 1) On some occasions pics come out blurry. I havent figured out yet if it has anything to do with the flash or if I am moving while I take the picture. Of the hundereds of pics I've taken only around 20 or so came out blurry.. Not bad. 2) It downloads slow but hey, I'm too cheap to buy the little reader that I've heard is a real joy so I still go through the serial port. For the price this is a great camara. Brainless to use.

I love this camera. The pictures are great but I have 1 complaint. There is a delay between the time you push the button and the time the picture is actually taken. This makes it hard to catch rare moments and people smiling.
