    Abit BD7-RAID + P4 1.6A GHz

    Okay I got the Abit BD7-RAID and Northwood P4 1.6A GHz combo. When I attempted to boot the system, there was no sync (blank screen) on the monitor and the POST code is 00, which is not mentioned on the manual. Anyone has any idea what is the problem? Could it be the CPU DOA? Or the board BIOS revision is incompatible with Northwood processors?

    take the cpu out and try again, ive got that mobo and a 1.8a same thing happened to me, no sync input, now it works fine

    00 means the board made it thru post.
    Are you getting any beep codes?
    What are your jumper settings on the blue block at the bottom of the board. Remember the P4 is a 100mhz cpu. Make sure you have it set for that.
