Red Hat Linux Port Forwarding!
Hey I am and MCP, not linux geek/brain, and I was wondering how could i forward a port if the proxy is on a Red Hat Linux 6.2 system. I would like to know what commands i would have to do how I would get into itor what. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated, I need to forward ports 5930-5933 to a computer from the proxy. Any reasources on the web that has a step by step documnetation would help greatly.
I use IPTables in my Mandrake gateway computer to forward ports to my internal computers. IPTables work on any linux computer using kerner 2.4 or greater. I don't know what kerner version redhat 6.2 uses, but it if has something lower than 2.4, you can use ipchains to do the same thing.
I have some instructions on how to implement this here:
Thanks qwert, I will give that a try...
