    OLD BAREBONE

    I PURCHASED A M810LR BAREBONE. CAME HOME RIPPED MY HD,CDROM AND FLOPPY FLOPPY FROM OLD SYSTEM. THE PC SEEMS TO WORK OK****BUT****I NOTICE THAT MY PLUG N PLAY BIOS IS FLAGGED CODE 15... SYSTEM HALT WHEN I TRY TO UPDATED IT.


    ANY ANSWERS...? SHOULD I HAVE STARTED CLEAN SLATE. FORMATED HARD DRIVE?

    In a word...YES!!!

    Back up any personal data that you want to save, format the HD, reinstall your OS and then install the motherboard drivers, and then your other drivers.

    A clean install is the only way to go when putting together a new system.

    whenever i do a big upgrade ie more than two seperate parts i always format my hard drive it seems to save time doing it this way from the start
