sandra 2002 standard score, can anyone explain?

i just ran sandra 2002 standard on my computer
and got these scores:


Dhrystone ALU 3877 MIPS

Whetstone FPU 1940 MFLOPS


can anyone tell me if these scores are good or bad
and also if anyone can compare what they got to mine.


current specs:

amd 1600+xp
msi k7t turbo limited ed. w/via kt133a chipset
768MB ram pc133
ati radeon 8500
audigy mp3
western dig. 7200rpm 60GB ata100
not overclocked

my XP1900+ scores this:

Dhrystone ALU = 4405

Whetstone FPU = 2210

So I'd say your scores are about right.

Everything was put on default before I started benching.

I just tried my sandra 2002 I got:
Dhyrstone=4140
whetstone=2078

Is this pretty norm?

I am running:
AMD XP 1700+
128 DDR Ram
fsb 272mhz
1.5 ghz

My new scores with FSB up to 145. They look better I'd say.
4417/2216 for arith
2179/2030 for Mem
8775/10175 for Multimedia
