    DSL-NIC

    I have a dsl modem with a usb connection. Am trying to install pci nic. Comp freezes when i start dsl if nic installed. Works fine without. Ideas?

    Freeze Problem

    It appears that you may have an IRQ conflict. Look in device manager and see what IRQ your nic is installed on. If there is a conflict, remove it in device manager then refresh, it should change the IRQ.

    Also, a little more info would help. O/S, other cards, including type of NIC. One other thing, how much RAM do you have?
