Anybody own ATI 8500 DV ??? is it worth paying $399
just wondering if anyone owns the ATI 8500 DV, just wondering if its worth paying $399 for it?
i wanted to use it to record tv shows and burn it to dvd-r.
anyone have sucess doing this?
are there any other cool features i should know about it?
or any draw backs of this card?

Well.....it sort of depends on what your definition of worth it means.
--If it means having the best all-in-one card out there that has great 2D, fast 3D, TV, video capture, editing, etc. then this is the card to have......is it worth $399......not really. I have seen them going for a little over $300 which sounds a bit better considering a oem Radeon 8500 goes for under $200 now.
