    Acer CRW 2410A

I just purchased an Acer CRW 2410A for my boyfriend for $114.00 and I would like to have any information about this unit. His basic uses are going to be recording MP3s and discs. Is this unit easy to install, easy to use and maintain and will it do what he is wanting it to do? Also what are some times for burning? Thanks.

    Hi alex276,
Welcome to SysOpt glad to have you here.

Installing a CD burner is quite simple, most of us would set it as secondary master and CD rom (if there is one) as primary slave.
I my experience it is usually the burning software that causes the grief for most people. You have to make sure the burning software (usuall not a full version) that comes with your burner is compatible with your OS. If you run into problems please let us know we might be able to help.

    Regards, Mark
