I tried the latest one ATI put out on the 14th and it does not work well and does not seem to care too much about the old Radeon DDR 32MB LE cards. It detects my card as a 7200 while the 3102 version detects it correctly. Also during bootup into the desktop, the screen is like if u were looking at a 3D movie without the 3D glasses, double image slight overlap. If i run a 3D program and just come out of it, it gets rid of the problem. But, it also does not display or lockup in certain games while the 3102 does not. The only problem with the 3102 version is that the shadow on some games does not implement properly while the new driver works. However, the newest driver is very slow on 2D graphics. Atleast by 1/2 the speed. I decided to go back to the 3102 and am happy with it. The only complaint is the shadow implementation does not always look right. I hate when ATI just says **** it with the old card, we are just gonna optimize for new cards only.
