Downloading old games that are classified as shareware is OK,
pirating full version recent games from Morpheus and other such sites is not.

Personally, I think the words Morpheus and Kazaa should be banned from this forum. It's theft no matter how you look at it.

But, that's just my point of view.

yeah and if you think about the spyware in a deeper way. If the government wants to see who is illigally downlloading games it can very easily since kazaa,morph, and other like it keep logs of you.

and the consequences are more likely to occur in my scenario than in yours
i havent heard of the bsa busting down any ones house and confiscating hard drives
but i do know of rampany virus infections from downloading pirated warez

dukeswan is right.. how much money a year does the government WASTE of pieces of garbage drug users who are put in special programs that get them no where and in jail cells where they watch tv all day while hard working americans are at work all day PAYING for the druggies cable in his cell. 40% is a lot of tax money and it's paying for garbage like that.

I don't download copywrited games, but I do download music up the wazoo, most people in this forum do too. That won't stop nor will copywrited material downloads stop.

I guess KaZaA is still spyware. I found out I had ONFLOW on my comp and deleted it. I do a lot of buying over the net on my comp and I don't want any one getting my info.
