Need help overclocking P3 550
I have a Dell Dimension P3 550 mhz, dont know what motherboard, nor what version of the cpu, only that its P3 and the speed 550 mhz. I would like to overclock it a decent amount. I have never overclocked a cpu before. If someone could provide a detailed set of instructions on how to do it. Keep in mind, I know nothing about overclocking, but a good deal about computers in general, so the only things that need explaining are things directly relating to the overclocking process. Thanks everyone.....

Mod w/ an attitude
Check your motherboard for jumpers to set the FSB and multiplier.
Increase the FSB from 100 MHz up in one step increments until the system will no longer post, then drop back one step.
DO NOT increase the multiplier since it is locked at 5.5 on the Intel 550 MHz processors.
I doubt that you will be able to over clock very far (maybe 600 MHz if you are lucky). Your system would need to have adjustable VCore voltage for stability.
