Several files missing during Win XP pro installation

    Hi,

During the installation I get the message :
setup cannot copy the file storprop.dll from your Win XP CD.

And the same goes for several other files : es1370mp.sys, ksuser.dll, ksproxy.ax,... etc.

What could be the reason ? I use an official WIN XP Professional CD. So it's not an illegal copy.

    Thank you for helping me.

WinXP is too new for me. I'd get MS on the horn and get an answer. Have you tried Microsoft's support website?

Hi pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the CD. I tried with another one : same problem.
I was wondering if someone else had this problem ?

Someone told me that I need to upgrade my BIOS. Unfortunately the website of my MB supplier "A-trend" is no longer available. http://www.a-trend.com.tw/

    Thank you for any help.
