Offically,.. ive heard it does, but im not to sure... (read on)

I was trying to install a USRobotics ISA 8bit 56K modem in an old
PII 350mhz machine running Windows 2000.
I thought it was a strange modem... being only an 8bit ISA card, yet 56K (V.90). It was packaged with Win 3.1, NT, 95 & 98 drivers.
Anyway to the point, i tryed 4 of these modems (all brand new)
in either of 2 machines (same specs) and none worked.
I thought that maybe 2000 does have a problem.. reason being the first fully 32 bit OS, unlike the previous 16/32bit previous OS's
and this is only a 8bit ISA card.

Any inputs or opinions appreciated.
