    Gigabyte 7ZXE Motherboard

    does anybody know how to turn the sound card feature off of this motherboard

    Look for a setting in the BIOS to turn it off

    Ok 1st get a small hammer oh sorry different project!
    Seriously though go to control panel, sounds and audio device properties, then Hardware, select the device you want to disable (I think it is the MPU-401 Compatible MIDI device?) then click on properties, then go to device usage and disable it!
    Thats if you are useing Windows XP I belive you follow a similar route for 98...Right click on my computer,click Device Manager,click Sound,video and game controlers, select the device you want to disable....jeeze I just cant remember if this is right! try it out and see if it works for you? good luck!
    Now how the hell did I do that?
