I've never had much luck with GTU. I always end up reinstalling the drivers and on a few occasions rebuilding my hard drive.

You can slow a G3Ti500 this low with all the good visual options turned on.

Anyway, to increase your score, you need to turn of the options that will make the GPU work harder.

Disable Anisotropy and Triple buffering and change AGP to 2x or 4x if the card will support it.

You might also check to see that VSYNC and Antialiasing are disabled.

There are others, but try these and see what happens.

    Good Luck!

    Thank you, Jimstep!
that gave me a few more FPS (the Vsync was off).
Took ur advice and did those other 3 things. So,
    in 1 flight (CFS2) i went from a low of 8-FPS to 21-FPS.

Hard to tell in IL-2 (impossible!).

I'm off to a good start.

    Appreciate it,

The score you have is just right for your Geforce 2 GTS, I have a 64Mb geforce 2 PRO, and I only get 4300, which when you check on the website is a good score for the card, so I dont think you will get too much more out of your card, sorry.

Download RivaTuner and use "High Performance" preset. You should notice some difference, RivaTuner might look "less tweaker" to you, but it doesn't have "fake" keys, or keys that don't change anything.

So i took a shot and then ran the 3dmark2001 test.

Its simple:GF2 is not Capable of DX8 Funktions. So if u want to Bench ur Card corectly you ll have to use 3dMark2000, coze this one is build for DX7 Cards. On GF2/Radeon256 and 7XXX Series DX8 Functions are only Emulated via drivers, so mainly ur CPU has to do all the work.

Actually, i found NVmax the best. Has a good help and no need to reboot your system after making changes.

Still need to run it through the 3dmark program tho.

    So what ?!
"Benchmark" is always a "Benchmark", and it doesn't matter which functions are emulated ...

As for your problem, savagkc :
    1. Start RivaTuner.
    2. Go to "Power User" tab.
    3. Click on Forth icon from the Left, this one with "+" over the "folder".
    4. Go to "Presets" directory.
    5. Choose your OS (would be "W9X" for your WinME).
    6. Choose "High Performance" preset.

    Restart the Windows as asked

Post back here the new scores, please ...

    PowerUser score = 3500 (even).
Using it i dropped about 180 points. I know thats not much.

Looks like its about all i'll get until i get the GF3 card.

    Thanks for all your help!

    THATS SIMPLY WRONG

If i want to Bench my Graka, ill only be able to Bench it corectly if i ll let my Graka do the Work and not by lettin my CPU doin the work, aint i???A Benchmark is ay Benchmark????NOPE TOTALLY WRONG AGAIN.Some are for OGL Benches,Some for Pixel/Vertex Benching,Some for DX7Card,Some for TileBasedRendering and so on.
