    Which tool to benchmark NIC's

    Greetings,

    I'm currently using NetIQ Chariot to benchmark network interface cards. It allows me to use a client rack [multiple clients] to hit the server and gives a good 'under-fire' test condition.

    Is there any other similiar tools that are nice? I like chariot but would like another program for a second opinion. I checked out NetBench but didnt like it much.. very simple, not many reporting options (Chariot does full HTML reporting and graphing)

    I don't have an answer for you, but I am curious what metric are you benchmarking with an NIC.
