    HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, i just ran 3DMark2001 for the first time, and i got 2633!!!!!!!!!!!! i see other people getting 7000. Also, some of the tests it said "No Hardware supported". Now i find this very odd, as i have a GeForce 2 MX MX/400 (not oc'd) and a P4 @ 1.66 GHZ with 512 MB of RDD RAM and a 60GB HDD @ 7200 RPM, i am also running Windows XP, i am using the Nvidia Driver 'Deternator' which i believe is the newest for my card, i am frieked out at my card getting such a *beeep* performance, is there anything i can do? I tested at 1024 x 768, 32 bit color, compressed textures, D3D Hardware T&L, Anitialising : none. Demo Looping: Disabled, Demo Sounds : Enabled, Game Detail : LOW!!!

This is my first visit to this forum and this topic but looking at your system I would say that the Geforce 2 MX is the bottleneck. Were the other benchmarks using the same card?

It's not just about your NVidia drivers. You need to make sure you have the best drivers for all your system components, a very important set of drivers being for your MoBo. Got to the manufacturers site and get the latest ones from there and see how well you do. remember if it all goes **** up then 'rollback' to your last working config. with XP.

Vibe, note that he can't go more than 2700-2800 even if he will OC this card, even with the latest and the 100% optimized drivers. Because he has GF2MX...
BTW, why to worry? I have GF2 MX400 too, and all the games are just flying. Why more? To have a better 3DMark results? It's simlpy funny.

    A few things.

    1. What do people get so crabby about benchmark scores. eg. My Pc runs Quake3 at 100FPS in top res, half like at 70FPS and Delta Force2 at 60FPS but my 3dMark score it only 3000 and i should be getting 5000. Im not being ***** here ok but does your pc underperfor. There are many reasons that effect benchmark scores that are unssen by the normal eye. On 3dmark 2001 i got nearly 2000 for my GF2mx200 which was the top of the list on comparison but games still sucked *** comapred to other peoples in the end i found out it was a tweaker running in the background which had all stuff enabled when i ran certain games etc. So dont worry

    2. To actually help you instead of being an anoying idiot. Have you run the comparison in 3Dmark and seen what other poeple with the same system as you score. If so then do a direct comparison because u may find that your system matches theres in every was except a couple of test where it sucks then you can determine what is causing it and solve the prob.

    3. Ill shut up now cos im probably pissing evry1 off
