3D Mark 2001 Not Working?????
I have downloaded 3D Mark 2000, and 2001 but neither one works, they both lock up when I run the bench marks, It locks up at the loading scene. I have just built the computer below, but everything else works perfect. I don't know what could be wrong, All my drivers are up to date.???????? Thanks for any help.

just a couple of things that may or may not help. You are aware that you have to have directX 8.0 or 8.1 to run it right? Also, i had the same problem and loading new motherboard drivers did the trick.
I would think the latest drivers would be available on your board manufacturers site, or that of the chipset producer. Good luck and believe me, with that system, you should have no trouble running 3d mark......When you isolate the cause and fix it, you will be very pleased with the result.....enjoy watching the girl ride the dragon .......LOL

There was a problem with the graphics board. I am going to have to send it back. I called Tech support and they have had similar problems. Oh well on a brand new sys that is the only problem so I got off lucky. Thanks for the help. I realized it was the board because none of my other games requireing Direct3D would work, but openGL would.

Also, overclocking and certain graphics settings can cause a 3DMark200x to lockup.
