My system does not start, after I cleaned the CPU...

I had a problem previously with my motherboard. I got Abit VA-6 and PIII-333. My system used to restart or freez immediately after I slightly move it. So I decided to "get smart" and open up the case and take it apart to see what the problem is. I took HDD, CD-ROM, Floppy drives out of case, but the system would still freeze from slight impact. Something was wrong with mother board of CPU. I took CPU out and just dusted then I put it back, and it never started again. I makes weird noices when it boots. And I hear hard drive working but monitor does not turn on...please help...Would it be because I moved CPU or is something wrong with Video card? How can I figure out if the problem is the CPU? Is there any way to check if it works? Thanks...

    listen up
if you cpu is slot a, or has a card
i know what to do with this. Take you CPU out and with a rubber rub all the pins, to get the dust off. After take you video card and ram out and do the same thing. This should work, if not email me at

Listen to the speaker sounds inside your case. Then look at your manual for what the beeps mean.

    You killed the CPU

Congrats. You just killed your CPU with static.
Never ever dust the CPU, it does not need it.
Better shell out the cash for a new one pal.

If you CPU is slot A, or has a card, you can clean the pins, not of the cpu but of the card. Thats what i ment.
